Clearwater Pollution Control are manufacturers of a wide range of GRP products which can be used for the storage of raw sewage, silage effluent, potable water and greywater. They are now part of the Kingspan group.
The Clearwater Aeroclere range of submerged aerated media package sewage treatment plants have been developed to operate unobtrusively below ground. They give a high level of treatment with the least disturbance while still allowing full access for service and maintenance.
Each
Aeroclere installation comprises of fully enclosed units installed
below ground level. All access is via a manhole lid, flush to the
ground.
First, coarse solids are filtered and retained for gradual breakdown.
Then the resulting liquid is continuously distributed over a plastic
suspended filter by an integral lift, powered by a remotely sited
blower.
Finally, the solids are allowed to settle and, under normal domestic
conditions, treated water of 20mg/l BOD, 30mg/l S.S., 20mg/l Ammonia
can be achieved.
